Retail Advertising outside Sales Representative

The Qaumi Aawaz Retail Advertising Department is looking for an Outside Sales Representative reporting
to the Local Retail Advertising Manager.
The successful candidate must have an excellent understanding of the retail world and possess a strong knowledge in both marketing and media. You will be responsible for generating advertising revenues through our current customers as well as developing new accounts. You must also have the ability to react quickly to sales
opportunities while managing regular sales activities.

Responsibilities:

* Soliciting and developing new business accounts
* Generating and maintaining advertising revenues through current customers
* Meeting budgets, sales goals and schedule deadlines
* Handling all rate, deadline, advertising and telephone enquiries
* Delivering excellent customer service consistently
* Covering sales territories and special projects as required

Qualifications:

* Excellent communication skills
* Post secondary education in advertising/ marketing/ sales or equivalent work experience
* Strong computer skills (Microsoft 0ffice, PowerPoint)
* Strong prospecting skills
* Strong negotiating and account planning skills
* Well organized with an attention to detail
* Ability to utilize market research and other data in creating presentations
* Ability to work independently and thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
